Shaved Ice
Japanese Dessert
Azuki to Kōri serves fluffy shaved ice, and it has become famous on social media. The owner trained as a patissier at Florilège, which influences the creative flavors and textures. The shop is known for its strawberry milk shaved ice, as well as matcha versions, all served in a relaxed, airy space in Yoyogi. Because the shop only accepts walk-ins, be prepared to wait, especially during peak hours.

First kakigori: Kugori in Ueno, Tokyo (the storefront has a different name but the google maps location should be pretty exact) Reservation kakigori: Azuki to kouri , Tokyo, Japan (reservations open up 7 days before at 9PM Japan time) The first spot had a much more creamier texture while the second spot had a more tart/fruit texture. Peter liked the first better because it tasted a little more like ice cream, I liked both!!
