TOKYO’S HIDDEN GEMS THAT LOCALS DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT Dining at Tokyo’s best hidden gems for my birthday that only locals know about. Save this because you’ll definitely want to go to them. I started the morning by having an egg sandwich from 7-11 because it’s a must when in Tokyo. Then had the most amazing coffee that I’ve ever had from @koffee_mameya_kakeru in Harajuku with a dedicated barista. Go when it opens to avoid the long queues. For lunch I managed to score a last-minute booking to a hidden Michelin star restaurant called @udatsu.sushi in NakaMeguro. I was amazed by the interior, the intimate setting & of course the best sushi I’ve ever had. In the afternoon I burned off some calories at Gold’s Gym in Shibuya. Then for dinner I also managed to get a last minute reservation at @sowado_ebisu in Ebisu. Hidden behind a black sliding door, I watched the chefs cook up the set menu that was offered. The ham cutlet & the charcoal fish were absolute standouts, and also the amazing interior & service too. Then to finish off the night, we had drinks at an intimate bar in the Golden Gai in Shinjuku with some great company. #tokyo #japan #visitjapanau #visitjapan #discovertokyo #japanfood #japanesefood #omakase #bestsushi #japanesefinedining #bestcoffee #birthdayidea
