Sushi
Fresh, seasonal ingredients define the sushi at Sushi Mon Shinjuku. The restaurant specializes in kaisen mode, where each piece of sushi is prepared individually. Expect an intimate counter seating experience. The quiet atmosphere suits a business meeting or a date night. Visitors track the large pieces of fish used for the sushi across social platforms. "They're using fresh, big pieces of fish with their sushi. As much as we love their sushi, we also love their kaisen mode," notes blake in tokyo 🇯🇵 (@blake.in.tokyo). Despite a modest Tabelog rating of 3.03 from 14 reviews, Google users rate it 4.7 across 543 reviews. This suggests a disconnect between traditional Japanese review sites and a broader international audience.

Never would’ve guessed ¥100 sushi could be this good 🍣 If you’re looking for a quick sushi stop in the middle of the city, this is it. Sushimon has a couple locations in Tokyo, and is serving up delicious bites of fresh fish that won’t break the bank 🤑 I went to the Shinjuku location, which drew a lot of foreign customers. Luckily the staff speaks a little English and you can order everything by QR code right from your phone. Def add this place to your list if you’re looking for a casual sushi spot on your trip to Japan 🇯🇵 📍Sushimon #sushi #japanesefood #japantraveltips #budgettravel #japan #PR
