What to know
Located on the second floor of the Kabukicho Tower, the Yamato Transport Logistics Center offers a surprisingly central shipping option in Shinjuku. This facility provides a convenient point for sending or receiving packages, which is useful for travelers or those needing logistics support in the area. The counter space is extremely small, often operated by a single staff member, which can lead to longer wait times. Despite its compact size, it's a valuable resource for handling logistics in a bustling district. Be prepared for potential waits, especially if other customers are present, as the single staff member manages all transactions. If picking up a package, staff may need to retrieve it from another area, adding to the processing time. For cool-delivery services, it is highly recommended to confirm availability by phone before visiting, particularly during unusual weather or busy periods, as these services are not always guaranteed. This center is particularly useful for those staying in nearby hotels or needing to send souvenirs home, offering a practical solution amidst the vibrant energy of Kabukicho.
