New Tokyo Stores to Visit in Fall 2026

Five stores opened in Tokyo around the start of October 2026. HUMAN MADE opened its first flagship in Harajuku, Star Wars got a permanent store in Ikebukuro, Salomon and agnès b. opened in Kichijoji and Ginza, and BEAMS opened a sports store in Meiji Park. Each entry has the hours, anything sold only at that store and the one thing to check before you go.
HUMAN MADE TOKYO opened on September 26, 2026 on Meiji-dori in Jingumae, between Harajuku and Shibuya. It is the brand’s first flagship and its largest store, at 595 square meters over three floors, about four times the sales floor of a standard HUMAN MADE store.
You can order from your phone. Each item carries a QR code, and scanning it sends the order to the stock staff. The store’s emblem is a lion, and the opening range puts it on T-shirts, hoodies and key rings. An MA-1 jacket comes in a color sold only here.
It is open from 11am to 7pm on weekdays and until 8pm on weekends and public holidays. Entry on the opening weekend was by lottery through the brand’s app, so look for an entry notice before a busy day. The video below is by @toui_toui_toui on TikTok, who went in on opening day.

STAR WARS STORE by BENELIC opened on October 1, 2026 on the sixth floor of the Ikebukuro PARCO main building. Benelic, which runs it, calls it the first permanent official Star Wars store in Japan. It follows a temporary store that ran in the same building earlier this year.
Benelic requires a reservation. Entry is by timed slot, booked in advance through LivePocket, which needs a free account. It says this applies for the time being and gives no end date, so read its entry notice before you travel.
The item to look for is the Millennium Falcon embroidered patch, which is sold only at this store, not online, at ¥1,650 with a limit of one per person. It belongs to a range of bags and pouches you customize with patches and straps. Spend ¥10,000 or more in one purchase and you get an acrylic card case that is not for sale, while stock lasts. POP MART reopens its Ikebukuro PARCO store on the second floor of the same building on October 16, 2026.
Salomon Store Kichijoji opened on October 2, 2026 at street level in Kichijoji Honcho, within walking distance of Kichijoji Station. Salomon built it as a base for runners in the area.
The store has lockers and test shoes for runners. Ask the staff how borrowing works before you plan a run from the store. It also has a 3D foot scanner that recommends a shoe from your measurements, which Salomon says is a first for one of its stores. The store also takes old running shoes for donation, and group runs are planned twice a month.
It is open from 11am to 8pm every day. Anyone who spends ¥22,000 or more gets a gift made for the opening, while stock lasts.

agnès b. Matsuya Ginza opened on October 9, 2026 on the first floor of the Matsuya Ginza Namiki-dori building, the department store’s new annex. The brand calls it a new flagship, and it has a café inside.
The brand made a T-shirt at ¥11,000 and a tote bag at ¥14,850 for the opening. Some things are sold only at this store. A denim jacket from its Eau de Javel line is ¥69,300 and the matching pants are ¥55,000. The café sells a tin of small sweets made with the Ginza confectioner Kikunoya for ¥4,320, and an ice cream flavor of Japanese black tea and cassis for ¥770. All of those prices include tax.
The store also shows work by the artist JonOne and a display of the brand’s artist T-shirts, including pieces from its archive. It is open from 11am to 8pm, and closes at 7:30pm on Sundays and on the last day of a run of public holidays.

BEAMS SPORTS opened on October 12, 2026 in Building A of Meiji Park, the park beside the National Stadium. The address is 5-7 Kasumigaokamachi, Shinjuku, and the park is a nine-minute walk from Kokuritsu-kyogijo Station or Gaienmae Station. It is the first store for BEAMS SPORTS, which BEAMS started in 2021.
It opened with running, trail running and basketball. BEAMS describes the British running label R.A.D RUNNING as making its Japan debut here. The store also has eight items of its own, including T-shirts, sweatpants and socks, and a selection of vintage sports T-shirts, mostly from the 1990s.
The store is open from 10am to 7pm and has no fixed closing day. A Parklet bakery café opened with it and runs from 9am to 7pm. The video below is by @running.style_web on Instagram. The card and map pin below are for Meiji Park, because the store is too new to have a map listing of its own.

Tax-free works differently from November 1, 2026
On purchases from that date you pay the price including tax, and it is refunded after customs confirms you are taking the goods out of Japan, within 90 days of buying them. How the refund is paid varies by store.
