Pokemon turns 30 in 2026, and the anniversary is being celebrated everywhere throughout Tokyo. The trading card set dropped in September, additional decks like the Celebration Battle Decks featuring Espeon and Umbreon release on October 30, 2026.
From October 10, 2026, 3COINS carries a Pokemon range product line priced from ¥330 to ¥1,650 including tax. The piece everyone is talking about is a clear vinyl umbrella, ¥990, printed with all 151 original Pokemon.
If you entered the lottery and won a place, October 10 is your day. If you did not, go on October 11 instead. Applications closed on September 23, so there is no way into the Pokemon section on opening day now, and the restriction does not apply from the 11th.
Both posts below come from 3COINS' own accounts. The first carries the lineup and the notice images that set the lottery dates. The second carries the September 18 revision to the purchase limit, which is the stricter rule this article quotes.

Pokemon Red and Green went on sale in Japan on February 27, 1996, so 2026 is the thirtieth year.
The trading card set, 30th Celebration, came out on September 16, 2026, and was the first Pokemon card set released in every territory on the same day. Every card in it is foil, it introduced a new rarity, and thirty different artists each drew a Pikachu.
If you want the anniversary at full scale while you are here, Tokyo has nine Pokemon Centers and Stores, including Mega Tokyo in Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Tokyo DX in Nihonbashi, Skytree and the Tokyo Station shop.
If you are following the anniversary more widely, our Tokyo Pokemon TCG guide covers the card shops, and our Pokemon in Tokyo guide covers the Centers, the cafe and PokePark KANTO.

The clear umbrella at ¥990 carries the all 151 grid across its whole canopy, so opening it reads as a Pokedex rather than as a print. It has a 60cm rib and a one touch opening.

It is also the piece of this range that has generated the most buzz online, and the objection people keep raising is practical rather than aesthetic. An umbrella is the one thing you are expected to leave in a stand by a shop door.
Several cheaper pieces carry the same grid if that is the worry. The reusable bag is ¥880 and the big handkerchief is ¥660, and neither spends its life in a rack by a doorway.

The artwork leans on the first generation of Pokemon.
The chain describes 62 items across three designs. Counted as products rather than as variants there are 35, running through tableware, stationery, towels and bags, plus a few harder to categorize: a clear umbrella, a shot glass and a sheet of wall stickers.
The reusable shopping bag carries all 151 original Pokemon, from Bulbasaur through Mew, printed small and in rows. The bath towel at ¥1,650 is the most expensive single piece, and the ¥330 tier covers keyrings, mini towels, memo pads and storage bags.
A second wave is confirmed, with no date announced.
The range is built on three artwork treatments, and the chain groups its own product page by them.
Design 1 is framed portraits, a gallery poster treatment on black with one Pokemon to a panel and its Pokedex number, over a yellow footer. The mug carries Pikachu on the front and Blastoise on the back.
Design 2 is character art, flat color illustration in both single cutouts and crowd scenes. The mini glass prints Pikachu with No.025 and TYPE:ELECTRIC beside him.
Design 3 is all 151, every one of the original 151 printed small in a repeating grid. This is the umbrella, the reusable bag and the big handkerchief.
Design 3 is the one that puts the whole original set on a single object, where the other two give you one Pokemon or a handful.

3COINS expects crowds on the first day and is managing entry to the Pokemon section by advance lottery. Applications ran from September 14 to September 23, with results on October 2, so the window has closed.
So the day you go depends on one thing. If you hold a winning place, go on October 10. If you do not, go on October 11, which is the first day anyone can walk in.
The lottery applies to October 10 alone. The purchase limit below applies every day, in stores and on PAL CLOSET.
Winning a place does not guarantee you can buy anything, and you cannot choose your entry time.
You may buy one of each item in each variant, per transaction, and the same rule covers the online store. The chain tightened this on September 18 from a looser limit, citing the number of lottery applications it had received, and it asks that nobody buy for resale.
So one of everything is allowed and several of the same thing is not.
Every price below was read from the chain's own campaign page on October 6, 2026, and includes tax. This is a selection rather than the full range, which the chain has not published as a single list.
The two tote bags are the clearest case for checking the design before you buy. They are the same shape at two prices, and what separates them is the artwork.

The Pokemon pieces sit inside an ordinary 3COINS range of homeware, stationery and accessories, which is why they are priced in the same band rather than at a character-goods markup.
3COINS is not the only Pokemon collaboration running in Tokyo. adidas has its own Pokemon collection, on sale since September 15, 2026.
Every 3COINS format carries the range, which covers 3COINS, 3COINS+plus, 3COINS OOOPS! and 3COINS station, and the chain's online store PAL CLOSET sells it from the same day. Tokyo has 51 branches and the three stores the chain excluded are all outside the city, so any branch you pass is carrying it.
These fifteen sit on routes a visitor is likely to be on anyway, and they cover Shibuya, Shinjuku, Chiyoda, Chuo, Minato, Bunkyo, Taito, Sumida, Toshima, Setagaya and Musashino. The Harajuku store is the chain's main store, which is what 原宿本店 means.

Read from the chain's campaign page on October 6, 2026. Prices include tax. The chain describes 62 items in total and has not published them as one list, so this table is a verified selection rather than a complete inventory.
The lottery controlled entry on October 10 and its application window closed on September 23. If you did not enter, October 11 is the first day you can walk in. The purchase limit applies either way.
One of each item in each variant, in stores and on PAL CLOSET alike.
PAL CLOSET carries the range from October 10 under the same per item limit, which is worth knowing if you are not in Tokyo on the day.
The chain has confirmed a second wave without dating it, so a piece you miss now may return in a different form later.

October 10, 2026, in stores and on the chain's online store PAL CLOSET on the same day.
No. Applications ran from September 14 to September 23, 2026, and results were announced on October 2. The lottery controls entry to the Pokemon section on October 10 only.
Entry to the Pokemon section that day is controlled by the lottery, and applications closed on September 23, so there is no way to enter now. The chain has not published what it does with visitors who do not hold a place. If you want the range, come on October 11, when the restriction does not apply.
From ¥330 to ¥1,650 including tax. Keyrings, mini towels and memo pads sit at the bottom of that range and the bath towel at the top.
One of each item in each variant per transaction, in store and online. The chain tightened this limit on September 18, 2026 and asks that nobody buy for resale.
All of them. The range is sold at every 3COINS, 3COINS+plus, 3COINS OOOPS! and 3COINS station in the country, and the three excluded stores are outside Tokyo.
