adidas Originals and Pokémon released their collaboration in Japan on September 15, 2026, with sneakers built on the SUPERSTAR II, SAMBA, MEGARIDE and ADISTAR XLG 2.0 and designs drawn from Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo, Rayquaza and Gengar. It was released through adidas stores across Tokyo, adidas.jp and the adidas app, though the selection and what is left vary by branch. Start at the flagship in MIYASHITA PARK, the one store running Pokémon photo spots through October 7.

The collection puts Pokémon designs on some of adidas Originals' best-known silhouettes, the SUPERSTAR II, SAMBA, MEGARIDE and ADISTAR XLG 2.0. adidas names Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo, Rayquaza and Gengar among the Pokémon the designs draw on, with each one's colors and details worked into the shoe. Each footwear model comes with a Pokémon shoebox and wrapping paper. Beyond footwear there are game shirts, jackets, a Japan-design T-shirt and kids pieces.
Begin at MIYASHITA PARK for the Pokémon presentation and the surest chance at the kids pieces. Harajuku is the strongest Originals-focused alternative, and Brand Center Shibuya gives you a second branch in the same part of town. Ginza and Odaiba each hold two stores close enough to check together, and Shinjuku has two very different ones. The rest are worth it when they already sit near your hotel or your route.
If this is one stop in a wider Pokémon day, the Tokyo Pokémon guide maps every Pokémon Center, the reservation-only Cafe and PokéPark KANTO across ten areas, and the Pokémon TCG guide covers 52 card shops for anyone hunting cards rather than clothes.
Prices are the in-store prices adidas published, tax included. Product codes are the quickest way to ask staff about one specific piece. adidas notes this is only part of the lineup, so stores may carry pieces that are not listed here.
The Pokémon photo spots at MIYASHITA PARK are planned from September 15 to October 7, 2026. adidas describes those dates as planned, so check before a late visit.
The prices adidas published include Japan's 10% consumption tax, so a SAMBA OG listed at ¥16,500 is what you pay at the register.
adidas says the range differs from store to store and asks shoppers to contact the store. Worth doing for a specific model or size, especially at the smaller Originals shops.
Some adidas stores and their host malls offer tax-free shopping to eligible visitors, so carry your passport and confirm at that branch before paying. Japan's system changes on November 1, 2026, when shoppers pay the tax-inclusive price first and are refunded after customs confirms departure.
Each footwear model comes with a Pokémon shoebox and wrapping paper, which is worth keeping if the shoes are a gift or going into a collection.
The collection is also on adidas.jp and in the adidas app, which is where to look if your size is gone in store.

アディダス オリジナルス フラッグシップ ストア 原宿
Originals flagship
アディダス オリジナルス フラッグシップ ストア 原宿
A dedicated adidas Originals flagship at 5-17-4 Jingūmae, minutes from Harajuku Station and on the Cat Street walk toward Shibuya. This is the one to pick if you are shopping the collaboration as fashion and want to fold it into a Harajuku route.

アディダス ブランドセンター 渋谷
Second stop in Shibuya
アディダス ブランドセンター 渋谷
The other adidas store in central Shibuya, at 23-5 Udagawachō, a short walk from MIYASHITA PARK on the Center-Gai side of the station. Worth the detour if the flagship has sold out of your size, or if this side of Shibuya is already on your route.
adidas lists every Brand Core Store and every Originals Shop for the collection's men's and women's pieces, so it is not confined to Shibuya. The stores below cover Ginza, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Roppongi, Odaiba and Tachikawa.
アディダス ブランドコアストア 銀座
Ginza, the wider range
アディダス ブランドコアストア 銀座
A Brand Core Store at 2-7-10 Ginza carrying the wider adidas range rather than Originals alone, so you can hold the collaboration up against the regular models. Do not confuse it with the Originals shop inside GINZA SIX, which is a separate store a few blocks away.
アディダス オリジナルスショップ 銀座
Ginza, Originals only
アディダス オリジナルスショップ 銀座
The adidas Originals shop on the 5th floor of GINZA SIX, the more fashion-led of Ginza's two adidas stores and the closer fit for a lifestyle collaboration. The two are close enough to check on one trip.
アディダス ブランドコアストア 新宿
Shinjuku, the big one
アディダス ブランドコアストア 新宿
A Brand Core Store spread over three floors at 3-27-4 Shinjuku, two minutes from Shinjuku Station. adidas introduced its Home of Sport concept here when the store reopened in April 2024, calling it one of its largest in Japan by floor area at 765 square meters.

Ikebukuro

アディダス オリジナルスショップ ららぽーと立川立飛
Western Tokyo
アディダス オリジナルスショップ ららぽーと立川立飛
An adidas Originals shop on the 2nd floor of LaLaport Tachikawa Tachihi, in western Tokyo. Worth a look if you are already out this way rather than a trip across the city.
adidas says the pieces each store carries vary and asks shoppers to contact the store for details, so call before making a special trip for one piece.
adidas published conflicting information about the kids range. Its collection release limits kids pieces to adidas.jp and MIYASHITA PARK, while a separate store notice names more branches. Treat MIYASHITA PARK and the website as the confirmed options and check with any other store first.
If the shoes have sold out by the time you reach a store, the Tokyo sneaker guide covers the boutiques and the authenticated resale shops where a sold-out pair can still surface.
On September 15, 2026. It went on sale at adidas stores, on adidas.jp, in the adidas app and at some other retailers.
adidas names Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo, Rayquaza and Gengar among the Pokémon the designs draw on.
The published in-store prices, tax included, run from ¥16,500 for the SAMBA OG to ¥33,000 for the MEGARIDE, with the SUPERSTAR II at ¥17,600, the SUPERSTAR II MID at ¥24,200 and the ADISTAR XLG 2.0 at ¥28,600.
At the adidas Brand Flagship Store MIYASHITA PARK in Shibuya, planned from September 15 to October 7, 2026.
MIYASHITA PARK is the safe bet. adidas's collection release says kids items are sold only online and at MIYASHITA PARK, while a separate store notice lists more branches, so call ahead before visiting another store for them.
They are two different stores. The Brand Core Store at 3-27-4 Shinjuku spreads the wider adidas range over three floors, and the Football Culture store at 3-37-11 opened in July 2026 with football and adidas Originals across two floors, one minute from the Central East Gate.
No. These are the twelve adidas stores in Tokyo we mapped for the collection. adidas also lists some other retailers, and the range differs from store to store.

What you can walk in and buy is the latte, one 1,300 yen cup and a card. The other forty of the 41 items never reach a shop. On sale from September 30.
Ten official stores, what each one is actually for, and the questions to ask before you cross the city for a pair.
On March 31, 2027 the Suica Penguin stops being the face of Suica, and Hobonichi plans to sell this 14-item collection only until the end of that month. It is stocked at the Tokyo Station store and the Gransta Mall online shop and nowhere else in the Hobonichi range. Here is the whole lineup with prices.
