Most Uniqlo clothes are sold around the world, so the reason to pick a store in Tokyo is what it offers that others do not. Go to UNIQLO TOKYO for the rice-cracker T-shirt designed for that store or to have tax-free purchases sent to your hotel. Uniqlo Ginza spreads over 12 floors with a coffee bar at the top, Shinjuku Honten stays open until 10pm, and Harajuku is the place for UT graphic T-shirts.
Eight more large stores are worth knowing. Four of them, in Nishi-Shinjuku, Kinshicho, Toyosu and Setagaya, print T-shirts with local designs no other store carries, and the other four are near Ueno, Asakusa, Ikebukuro and Akihabara.

UTme! is Uniqlo’s print counter, where you choose designs for a T-shirt or tote and the store prints it. Orders are usually ready the same day and sometimes the next, so ask when you order. Some stores carry designs made with local businesses that no other store prints.
RE.UNIQLO STUDIO repairs Uniqlo clothes and adds embroidery. Since October 23, 2026 it has offered Monchhichi designs, at ¥700 for a logo or outline and ¥1,500 for a color design. You can bring Uniqlo clothes you already own, but baby items, underwear and some collaboration items are excluded, and some fabrics and placements cannot be embroidered. Embroidery and sashiko may not be ready the same day, so ask for the pickup date before you order and make sure you can collect it before you leave Tokyo.
UNIQLO FLOWER sells cut flowers, and UNIQLO COFFEE is a coffee bar inside three of the flagships and the Setagaya Chitosedai store.
Tax-free shopping changes on November 1, 2026, when it becomes a refund instead of a discount at the register. Our guide to the new tax-free rules explains how it works.
Each of these four has something the other three do not, so choose by what you want to do there rather than by which one is closest. Two of them are in Ginza, a short walk apart.
UNIQLO TOKYO fills the first four floors of Marronnier Gate Ginza 2, two minutes from Exit 4 of Ginza-itchome Station and four minutes from the Central Exit of JR Yurakucho Station. When it opened on June 19, 2020, Uniqlo called it the largest global flagship in Japan, with about 1,500 tsubo of selling floor. A tsubo is about 3.3 square meters, so that is roughly 5,000 square meters, including an atrium that runs the full height of the store. Herzog & de Meuron designed it, and as the architecture creator @arc.hikari points out in the post below, the design keeps the bare structure of the building that stood here before.
This is the store for the Shichifukujin arare designs, made with Kosen Senbei, the Ginza maker of the Seven Lucky Gods rice crackers. Its 4th-floor UTme! counter has 40 arare stamps to combine on a T-shirt (¥1,990), a kids’ T-shirt (¥1,500) or a sweatshirt (¥3,990), and a T-shirt designed for the store is sold only here. The designs run from August 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027, though the maker says the dates may change, and none of them are sold online.
UNIQLO TOKYO also lists a service that delivers tax-free purchases to your hotel, so confirm the delivery area and any fee with the store before you buy. PLST and Theory have their own areas inside, alongside UNIQLO COFFEE, UNIQLO FLOWER and RE.UNIQLO STUDIO, and the store is open from 11am to 9pm every day.
Uniqlo Ginza fills all 12 floors of the Ginza Komatsu East building on Chuo-dori, four minutes from Exit A2 of Ginza Station. Uniqlo called it its largest store in the world when it opened on March 16, 2012, and it reopened after a renovation on September 17, 2021.
That renovation put UNIQLO COFFEE, Uniqlo’s first cafe, on the 12th floor. It gave the 11th floor to UT, Uniqlo’s graphic T-shirt line, with a photo booth papered in designs made for Ginza. The creator @tiffanys.album’s post below walks through the floors, the cafe and the flower counter. Those floor details come from Uniqlo’s 2021 announcement, so check the floor guide by the elevators when you arrive.
Its UTme! counter prints the Shichifukujin arare stamps too, though the T-shirt designed for UNIQLO TOKYO is sold only there. Ginza’s listing also includes chain-stitch hemming in the store, which Uniqlo’s price list marks as online only, so confirm it at the counter. Standard hemming is covered under How to Shop below.
RE.UNIQLO STUDIO, UNIQLO FLOWER and Custom Order for women and men are here as well, and the store is open from 11am to 9pm every day.
Uniqlo Shinjuku Honten opened on October 25, 2024 on the site of the old BICQLO. It connects directly to Exit A5 of Shinjuku-sanchome Station and is about five minutes on foot from Shinjuku Station. Honten means main store. When it opened, Uniqlo called it the largest global flagship in the Shinjuku area, with about 1,200 tsubo (roughly 4,000 square meters) over three floors.
Uniqlo’s 2024 opening guide puts UNIQLO FLOWER on the 1st floor. UNIQLO COFFEE is on the 2nd, where it also sold local sweets such as Shinjuku Nakamuraya’s at opening, beside PLST, Comptoir des Cotonniers and Princesse tam.tam. RE.UNIQLO STUDIO and UTme! share the 3rd floor.
The UTme! corner opened with T-shirts and totes made with eight Shinjuku businesses, from the art-supply store Sekaido to Nissin. The artist @kuniokohzaki made eight headpieces for its display, each one inspired by one of those businesses, and his post is below. Uniqlo sold the designs only at this store at the opening, except for the Shinjuku Nakamuraya and Sekaido T-shirts, which were also sold at Shinjuku Flags. We could not confirm which designs are still on sale.
The store is open from 10am to 10pm, the latest closing of the four flagships.
Uniqlo Harajuku is in the WITH HARAJUKU building, one minute from JR Harajuku Station and Meiji-jingumae Station. Uniqlo opened its first city-center store in Harajuku and calls the area the place that made the brand. This store, which opened on June 5, 2020, was its first in the neighborhood in eight years.
Come here for UT. The store opened in 2020 with UT POP OUT, a floor of graphic T-shirts at the 1st-floor entrance, and the creator @lilfooddiarymelb’s post below shows the range. The 2020 layout put StyleHint Harajuku, built around Uniqlo’s StyleHint outfit app, in the basement, and the store’s listing says it now runs workshops there and sells books.
UTme! and UNIQLO FLOWER are here, but there is no repair studio and the listing names no UNIQLO COFFEE. Uniqlo also notes that some kids’, baby, women’s and men’s items are not stocked. Hours are 11am to 9pm on weekdays and holidays, and 10:30am to 9pm on weekends.
The first four of these stores print UTme! designs made with local partners, and Uniqlo says each set is sold only at that store. Shinjuku Nishiguchi, LaLaport Toyosu and Setagaya Chitosedai reopened on October 23, 2026, and their feature pages give no prices or end dates for the designs. The other four are large stores worth a stop if you are staying nearby.
Shinjuku’s second large Uniqlo is on the west side of the station, on floors B1 to 4 of the Shinjuku Palette building. It is about three minutes on foot from the JR, Keio and Odakyu Shinjuku stations, or one minute from Exit A10 on the Oedo Line. The store closed for renovation on May 28, 2026, and reopened on October 23, 2026.

Its UTme! designs come from four Shinjuku names and differ from Shinjuku Honten’s. The SOMPO Museum of Art design prints Van Gogh’s Sunflowers, which hangs in that museum. The others are made with Tonkatsu Shinjuku Saboten, the giant 3D cat on the Cross Shinjuku Vision screen at the East Exit, and the fashion school Tokyo Mode Gakuen. All of them come on T-shirts and totes.

UNIQLO FLOWER is here too, and the store is open from 10am to 9pm.
Arcakit Kinshicho, a shopping center by the North Exit of JR Kinshicho Station in Sumida, gives its whole 4th floor to Uniqlo. Exit 3 on the Hanzomon Line is one minute away. The store reopened on September 25, 2026, after an expansion to about 750 tsubo (roughly 2,500 square meters), all on one floor.
The UTme! counter prints 14 designs made with five Kinshicho partners, from the snack makers Yaokin and Ginbis to the Sumida Hokusai Museum, the Koganeyu and Daikokuyu bathhouses and Hirota Glass. Uniqlo says they are sold only here, as a T-shirt (¥1,990, S to XL), a mini tote (¥1,990) or a tote (¥2,490), with no end date given.
The kids’ and baby section is about three times its old size, and Uniqlo calls it one of the largest in Japan. RE.UNIQLO STUDIO and UNIQLO FLOWER are here too, and the store is open from 10am to 9pm.
This store is on the 2nd floor of Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu, the mall linked directly to Exit 2b of Toyosu Station on the Yurakucho Line and to the Yurikamome station. It reopened on October 23, 2026, with PLST next door and a new GU on the 1st floor.
Three local food names made its UTme! designs, Tsukishima Kyuei and its melon bread, the butcher Niku no Takasago and Sushi Bun. The designs come in kids’ sizes 110 to 140cm as well as adult sizes.

The Tsukishima Kyuei melon bread design. Image: Uniqlo.
Uniqlo notes that only kids’ and baby clothes are stocked in the full range here. The store is open from 10am to 9pm.
Setagaya Chitosedai is the one store here in residential west Tokyo, on the 1st floor of Carino Chitosedai on the Kanpachi ring road. Chitose-Funabashi Station on the Odakyu Line is about 15 minutes away on foot, the Chitosedai 3-chome bus stop is right outside, and there are 227 parking spaces. The store opened in 2007 and reopened after a renovation on October 23, 2026.
The renovation added a UNIQLO COFFEE with a blend Uniqlo serves only here, and the coffee register also sells drip bags made for the store with Machi no Coffee. Its UTme! designs, sold only here, come from the magazine Setagaya Life, the Setagaya Art Museum, the patisserie La Vieille France and the Odakyu and Keio railways, including their mascots Mocoron and Keita-kun.
Its RE.UNIQLO STUDIO is the only one in Tokyo that offers sashiko, the traditional Japanese stitching in geometric patterns once used to mend and strengthen clothes. Uniqlo offers it at two other stores in Japan, in Maebashi and Fukuoka. Bring a Uniqlo item, ideally cotton such as an Oxford shirt or jeans, and allow three days to two weeks.
UNIQLO FLOWER is here too, and staff trained in body-type analysis give styling advice by appointment. Hours are 11am to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 8pm on weekends and holidays.
Facing the north exit of JR Okachimachi Station, this store marks the entrance to Ameyoko, the market street that runs toward Ueno. It opened on April 25, 2014, with about 860 tsubo (roughly 2,800 square meters) over four floors. RE.UNIQLO STUDIO and UNIQLO FLOWER are here, along with Comptoir des Cotonniers and Princesse tam.tam, and it is open from 10am to 9pm.
The Asakusa store takes the first two floors of the Tokyo Rakutenchi Asakusa Building. It is one minute from Exit A1 of Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express and about eight minutes from the Ginza Line. It reopened on March 20, 2025, after a renovation that moved kids’ and baby clothes to the 1st floor, added a library corner and put graffiti by the artist ESOW on the windows. RE.UNIQLO STUDIO and UTme! are on the 2nd floor. It closes at 8pm, an hour before most of the others.
In the Ikebukuro Globe building, this store sits on Sunshine 60 Street, which leads from the east exit of Ikebukuro Station to Sunshine City, about seven minutes on foot. It opened on March 14, 2014, with about 800 tsubo (roughly 2,600 square meters) over six floors. UNIQLO FLOWER is here, though there is no repair studio, and it is open from 11am to 9pm.
Yodobashi Akiba, the electronics store that connects directly to Akihabara Station, has Uniqlo on its 7th floor. When it opened on April 14, 2023, Uniqlo called it the largest store it had opened in Akihabara since its first there in 2003, at about 430 tsubo (roughly 1,400 square meters). It keeps the longest hours of the stores here, 9:30am to 10pm, which Uniqlo itself notes is rare in central Tokyo.
Stores stock sizes S to XL. XS, XXL, 3XL and 4XL are sold only on Uniqlo’s online store, which is not tax-free, so if you wear one of those sizes the store may not have it. Some longer and shorter inseams are online only too.
Uniqlo takes cash, major credit cards and international debit cards, but it accepts American Express only when the card was issued in Japan. Alipay, WeChat Pay, PayPay, Suica and PASMO work at the register, and iD, QUICPay, Suica and PASMO work through Apple Pay or Google Pay. A few stores inside stations and shopping centers take fewer of these.
Most Uniqlo stores hem Uniqlo trousers and other bottoms, including ones bought at another branch or online. A few stores do not offer it, so check the store listing first. A machine-stitched or cut hem is usually ready the same day, and it is free on bottoms priced ¥2,990 or more and ¥280 below that. A blind-stitched hem takes until the next day or later. Once an item is hemmed it cannot be returned.
Eight of the twelve stores here carry Uniqlo’s full UT lineup, every graphic T-shirt it sells. The four that do not are the four with store-only UTme! designs. Most UT designs are sold outside Japan as well, so the store-only prints above are the ones you cannot get at home.
For tax-free shopping, Uniqlo will not combine receipts from different stores, and online orders are never tax-free, even when you pick them up in a store. A tax-free purchase can be exchanged or returned only at the store where you paid, with your passport and receipt.
Most of what Uniqlo sells is the same at every Tokyo store, so the harder question is what to pick up. These seven come up most in the Uniqlo hauls that shoppers in Japan posted on TikTok and Instagram over the past year. Prices are from Uniqlo Japan on October 28, 2026, tax included, and the product images are Uniqlo’s own. Under each one is the post of the creator named.
Ribbed Henley Neck T-shirt, ¥1,990. A slim women’s long-sleeve rib with a buttoned henley neck, in ten colors. @juno1511 on Instagram bought it in purple and paired it with other Uniqlo pieces from this season.

Jersey Barrel Leg Pants, ¥4,990. Unisex pants in a sturdy jersey with a rounded barrel leg and a slightly high rise. @kotori153 on TikTok recommends them to shorter shoppers.

Fleece Stand Blouson, ¥5,990. A loose unisex nylon jacket lined with fleece, made to throw on over anything. @chihiro___315 on Instagram bought it for its color blocking.

Uniqlo U Lambswool Stand Collar Cardigan, ¥4,990. A short wool cardigan from the Uniqlo U fall and winter 2026 collection. The collar buttons to the top or falls open like a sailor collar. @leia457 on TikTok likes it buttoned up or worn open.

Uniqlo : C Smooth Cotton Crew Neck Sweater. An all-cotton sweater with a sweatshirt-style gusset at the neck, in nine colors. It was on a limited-time price when we checked, so check the tag in the store. @looksnote_women on TikTok styled it seven ways.

Brushed Jersey Wide Pants, ¥4,990. Soft unisex pants with a moderately wide leg. Uniqlo sells two cuts under this name, one with tucks and a tapered leg, and suggests hemming them a little long because the jersey can shrink in the wash. @_rbaby80 on TikTok put them in a fall haul.

HEATTECH, from ¥1,290. The thin heat-retaining layer to wear under everything in a Tokyo winter. A crew neck long-sleeve top is ¥1,290, and the warmer Extra Warm and Ultra Warm versions are mostly ¥2,490 and ¥2,990. @life_in_japan54 on TikTok lists it among what you will find at Uniqlo Ginza.

UNIQLO TOKYO and Uniqlo Ginza, the T-shirt at UNIQLO TOKYO only
Kosen Senbei, the Ginza maker of the Seven Lucky Gods rice crackers, made these designs with Uniqlo. The T-shirt designed for UNIQLO TOKYO (¥1,990) is sold only at that store. The UTme! counters at UNIQLO TOKYO and Uniqlo Ginza have 40 stamps to combine on your own T-shirt (¥1,990), kids’ T-shirt (¥1,500) or sweatshirt (¥3,990). None are sold online, and they are scheduled through June 30, 2027.

Uniqlo Arcakit Kinshicho only
14 designs made with five Kinshicho partners, including Yaokin, Ginbis and the Sumida Hokusai Museum. A T-shirt is ¥1,990, a mini tote ¥1,990 and a tote ¥2,490. Uniqlo says they are sold only at this store and has given no end date.

Uniqlo Setagaya Chitosedai, the only store in Tokyo
Traditional geometric stitching on Uniqlo clothes you bring or buy that day, to mend a hole or just decorate. Running stitch and cross patterns cost ¥1,000 for an area up to 20cm² and ¥2,000 for 21 to 59cm². The other three patterns cost ¥2,000 and ¥3,500 for the same two sizes. Allow three days to two weeks.

UNIQLO TOKYO, Uniqlo Ginza, Shinjuku Honten, Arcakit Kinshicho, Setagaya Chitosedai, Okachimachi and Asakusa
Since October 23, 2026, RE.UNIQLO STUDIO at these seven stores can embroider the Japanese doll character on your Uniqlo clothes. A logo or outline design is ¥700 and a color design ¥1,500. Baby items, underwear and some collaboration items are excluded.

Shinjuku Honten, Shinjuku Nishiguchi, Arcakit Kinshicho, LaLaport Toyosu, Okachimachi and Asakusa open at 10am, and Yodobashi Akiba at 9:30am. Uniqlo plans to raise the Kando jacket from ¥6,990 to ¥7,990 and the Kando pants from ¥3,990 to ¥4,990 on November 10, 2026. If either is already on your list, the change may decide when you shop.
For purchases from November 1, 2026, tax-free shopping becomes a refund. You pay tax at the register and get it back after completing the departure procedure. Uniqlo lists a minimum of ¥5,500 including tax, and purchases from different stores cannot be combined. Keep your tax-free purchases with you, because you show them at the airport or seaport before you check your bags. Our tax-free guide, linked above, explains the rest.
Availability as stated by Uniqlo and Kosen Senbei on October 27, 2026. The arare designs run until June 30, 2027, and the maker says the dates may change.
